An Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a second home on an existing residential lot.

The Denver based Single Family Plus (SF+) ADU Program works with homeowners at all income levels to make ADU development more accessible and affordable.
To participate you must:
Be an existing homeowner with ADU zoning in the City of Denver (As of 11/19/2024 all single family homeowners have ADU zoning.)
Choose between one of 10 pre-designed floorplans for a detached ADU
Be able to finance the homeowner’s portion of the ADU cost
Please note: The SF+ ADU Program does not convert existing structures, build attached ADUs, or support custom construction.
